Tour Itinerary (12 Days / 11 Nights)

Day 1: Kathgodam → Munsiyari (by road, overnight stay)
Day 2: Acclimatization at Munsiyari, local sightseeing
Day 3: Munsiyari → Lilam (12 km trek)
Day 4: Lilam → Bogudiar (12 km trek through forest and waterfalls)
Day 5: Bogudiar → Rilkot (12 km trek, high-altitude meadows)
Day 6: Rilkot → Martoli (14 km trek, ancient trade village)
Day 7: Martoli → Milam Village (11 km trek, near glacier)
Day 8: Milam Village → Milam Glacier excursion → back to Milam Village
Day 9: Milam → Martoli
Day 10: Martoli → Bogudiar
Day 11: Bogudiar → Lilam → Munsiyari
Day 12: Munsiyari → Kathgodam (return journey)

By Air
Nearest airport: Pantnagar (240 km from Kathgodam / 280 km from Munsiyari). Taxis available.

By Train
Nearest railhead: Kathgodam, well connected to Delhi and Lucknow. From there, taxis/buses take you to Munsiyari (approx. 270 km).

By Road
Regular buses and shared taxis operate from Delhi, Haldwani, Kathgodam, and Almora to Munsiyari, the trek base. The drive offers stunning Himalayan views.

Best Time to Visit

• May – June: Pleasant weather, blooming rhododendrons, and clear skies.

• September – October: Best visibility of Himalayan peaks, ideal trekking conditions.

• July – August: Not recommended due to heavy monsoon rains.

• November – April: Harsh winter with snow, valley inaccessible.
