Ralam Glacier Trek in Munsiyari  Itinerary

Day 1: Kathgodam to Munsiyari Drive

Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathgodam to Munsiyari, allowing you to soak in the breathtaking views of the Kumaon Himalayas. 

Day 2: Munsiyari (Preparation Day)

Day 3: Munsiyari to Panto

The best time to visit the Ralam Glacier Trek in Munsiyari  is during the summer and early autumn months, from May to June and September to October.

• May to June: The weather is pleasant, snow begins to melt, and the valleys are covered with lush greenery and blooming flowers. This is an ideal time for trekkers who enjoy moderate weather and scenic beauty.

• September to October: After the monsoon, the skies are clear, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks. The trails are refreshed, the air is crisp, and the overall trekking conditions are perfect.

Avoid July and August, as heavy monsoon rains can cause landslides, slippery trails, and make trekking risky.

If you prefer snow trekking, late April and early May are also good options when parts of the trail are still covered in snow.
